Homemade Reese's Oreo Balls
Ingredients:
1 package (14.3 oz) Oreos (I used peanut butter Oreos) 🍪
1 package (8 oz) cream cheese, softened 🧀
Peanut butter cups (one for each Oreo ball) 🥜
Chocolate Candiquik or almond bark 🍫
Optional toppings:
chopped Reese's pieces, peanut butter candy melts 🍬
Instructions:
1. Allow the cream cheese to come to room temperature. 🧀
2. Pulse half of the Oreos in a food processor until crumbs form, then add the other half and repeat. 🍪🔄
3. Mix Oreo crumbs with cream cheese until well blended. 🥄
4. Line a baking sheet with a silicone mat. 🧈
5. Scoop and form Oreo balls, placing a peanut butter cup inside each. 🍫🥜
6. Chill the Oreo balls in the fridge for 20 minutes. ❄️🕒
7. Melt the chocolate Candiquik or almond bark over low heat. 🍫🔥
8. Dip each Oreo ball in the melted chocolate, using a fork to lift and remove excess. 🍫🍴
9. Place dipped balls back on the silicone mat and optionally top with chopped Reese's pieces or drizzle with peanut butter candy melts. 🍬
10. Allow them to harden at room temperature. 🍽️
Notes:
✔️ Ensure the Oreo balls aren't too cold when dipping to prevent cracking. ❄️
✔️ Store in the fridge until serving. 🥶 Enjoy!
