When you're planning on going on a first date with someone, what's the ideal amount of money should you be looking at spending? 

Who gets to choose where the date takes? Do you allow your date partner choose when she's not the one paying?

When Jordan (my husband) and I were dating he would almost always let me choose where we went. We lived in a small town and still do. (Different town, still small) We didn't have many plans to choose from so it was easy and I believe he always paid.
